History

In 1974, Mary Wempner opened the Dance School in a small neighborhood grocery store, which was converted into a one room dance studio. At the time, the studio had 35 students.

At the time, recitals were held in the studio.

Later, Mary's daughter, Ann, started teaching at the studio.
Eventually, the studio grew to have over 500 students. Now, the third generation of Mary's family is teaching at the studio, with Chante and Leah. The current location has three studios on Main Street with hundreds of students and fully produced recitals at the Fond du Lac Performing Arts Center.
